Filming In Tennessee
Film Insurance Requirements in the State of
The State of Tennessee requires production companies to provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to filming when filming on state property.
Certificate(s) of Insurance (COI) as evidence of General Liability coverage in the amount from $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 depending on the state property that you are aiming to rent.
A separate additional insured endorsement for the COI with the following wording: “the State of Tennessee, including its officers, agents and employees is named as additional insured, with respect to liability arising out of the operations related to filming on Tennessee state-owned or operated property” is required; for various other state departments differing COI wording may be required.
Workers Compensation: State laws require companies to provide proof of worker’s compensation coverage.
